She really is an angel
The sweet lady who operates this B and B patiently guided us in after we missed a turn. The snack and drinks awaiting us in the room were a most welcome surprise. The room was elaborately and beautifully decorated, making what could have been an ordinary room feel luxurious. She even provided aromatherapy with the in-room jacuzzi. We considered skipping breakfast because of a pressing itinerary, but she accommodated us by sending our breakfaast first. It really was a meal worth waiting for. I would go back any time.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge a few miles south of town is an impressive operation. I’ve never been that up close and personal to lions and tigers (through two fences).
