Great Location
Professional staff,Multi-Lingual,room was charming with a great view of the street from the balcony. Bell boy ? very helpful and pleasant.Breakfast very nice.across the street from the metro station and a short walk from the entrance to Ancient Pompei ruins.Small town nice contrast from the hustle and bustle of Rome.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The museum was closed when we were there ,not to open till Sept.2009.We came in part to see the plaster casts in the museum as well as other items.

Nice palce to stay...
My flight was cancelled so I drove from Rome (3 hours) to Pompeii, arriving at almost midnight. The staff were waiting, and wonderful-- a place to park right in front of the hotel and a comfortable room all ready for me. They were very helpful, clean room (not luxurious, but comfortable), breakfast fine, not fancy, woken up by the cathedral bells. Right next to the station to go to the Naples museum and a pleasant walk to the ruins of Pompeii.

A few problems
The hotel had potential but unfortunately a couple of things were wrong. 1) The bathroom was not cleaned properly and had mould growing on the grout in the shower. 2) The room stunk of cigarette smoke. Also, be prepared for Pompeii and Herculaneum. Both are very low places with loads of rubbish, graffiti and stench. The ruins are very interesting but all around is quite scary.
