Not impressed
New on the outside, room wasn’t new on the inside. I think I didn’t like the fact that the room had just been freshly painted and had an odor. Also didn’t like the vaulted ceilings in the room. Free breakfast was just okay.

Nice hotel - bad experience
The hotel is very nice - it is new and everything is still very nice and clean. My MAJOR complaint was the staff. It took us 30 minutes to check in and the room was already fully paid. The front desk attendant didn’t know how to check people in, I guess they don’t train people there. Another lady showed up to "help" and proceeded to make snotty remarks to the other girl while she "helped". We finally got checked in and everything was fine until I got home....I checked my credit card and they charged me again for the rooms. I called to get them to remove the charge and they just didn’t call back. I am really unhappy with this experience - now I have to dispute charges that should have never happened! Thanks Country Inns and Suites - I take a vacation to de-stress and now I have to come back and deal with your stupidity! FYI: If you stay here check your credit card for unauthorized charges after you leave.

Great stay
Hotel is right next to the airport but don’t be discouraged, I’m a light sleeper and I slept wonderful! The beds are so comfortable and the room is very clean and modern. Its a new hotel and the staff is very nice. There really isnt anything but good to say about this hotel. Its not to far from town if you plan on driving yourself. There are parking garages in town and on the weekends the parking even at meters are free but garage’s always charge. Great lil town
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Great night life! bars open till around 5am. Good prices. But if you plan on partying and are smart enough not to drive, I suggest paying the extra money to stay in walking distance becaue 48 dollar round trip taxi rides add up quickly! Love savannah, its like a mini charleston, SC. Def go eat at "Uncle Bubba’s" its the brother restuarant to Paula dean’s Lady and Son’s and there isnt a 9 hour wait.
