On Rue Bergère
Just 5 blocks from Boulevard Haussmann, Rue Bergère is home to this historical Paris hotel; the lobby, with a century-old mosaic floor, was once open to horses and carriages.

Excellent hotel!!! Would definitely return!!!
Our stay at the Bergere Opera was lovely! The staff was very helpful and efficient! The rooms were made up perfectly every day (with the softest white sheets and blankets). You can walk to almost anywhere with a good pair of walking shoes. Haussman Blvd. (Gallerie Lafayete and Printemp) is a few blocks away too!!! Tons of places to eat.....

Not impressed
The best thing about this hotel is its location. The front desk staff was OK, however one of the concierge was extremely unfriendly. The room although overlooked the interior garden (which indeed is not used and has fake grass) was very noisy.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The hotel is very close to the Grands Boulevards metro station. If you use the metro I recommend you purchase the 10 trips book for 11.40 euros rather than individual tickets (1.60 euros each).

Good place to stay
This is your typical European Hotel. An old building that was converted into a hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful. The breakfast is adequate and usually included in the rate. Do not expect much. It is your basic french breakfast. Boiled eggs, jus, croissants and a very good expresso. The elevator is old and noisy affecting rooms close to it. The hotel is well situated and a block away from a metro station. A lot of nice restaurants in the vicinity. The Louvre museum is within a 20 minute walk from the Hotel.
