Not bad but housekeeping needs work.
This is a new hotel and for the most part the room and service were satisfactory. The front desk staff was great, but housekeeping sure needs some work. There were no batteries in the tv remote (how do you miss that?) and a used tampon applicator under the outside corner of one bed that was moved out when I pulled back the covers (yukk). But the bed was comfortable, the room walls were thick (so fairly quiet) and it was convenient for an early departure from the airport the next day.

Great Place to Stay for the Derby
This place is clean and bright, with pleasant and helpful staff. Nice restaurant with better-than-average menu for breakfast and dinner. Nicely located for Churchill Downs.

Restaurant menu very limited but food was good.
Relatively new hotel and was very clean and nicely maintained. A bit hard to find. Only downside was the restaurant menu was very limited but the food was well prepared and tasted good. There are not any other restaurants in the immediate area, at least none that were apparent so this would be an issue if had to stay more than a couple of nights. Wine list was poor, stick with the beer.
