Great location
Great location within a block of the gondolas up the mountain, close to the quaint downtown and restaurants. Free parking across the street was a nice bonus. The first room they gave us had a funky smell but a great view of the glacier. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to a different room; no view but very comfortable. Skip the hotel breakfast and enjoy coffee and a pastry at a local bakery.
If you are there on a Saturday morning, go to the open air market. Italy is an easy and fun drive through a tunnel. If the weather is rainy in France, try going to Italy for the day!

Gem in Chamonix
After visiting Aiguille Du Midi that is very close to the hotel, I can relax with free Sauna at the hotel. It feels really great because I felt a little bit cold at the top of Aiguille Du Midi. The staffs are really friendly and attentive. The room and hotel facilities were generally very clean and comfortable. Also, the hotel rent a bicylce for free. As you may know, Chamonix is a relatively small town and bicycle is good enough to explore town and nearby. The only one thing that I missed is the view of Mont Blanc from my room.
There is a nice Korean restaurant "Sanmaru" near the place where you can take the cable car for Aiguille du Midi.

Good Hotel
Good hotel and reasonable price. Quite far away from town centre (15 min walk) but acceptable in warm weather condition.
