Great value
This is a great value for a base in Krakow. It’s quiet, well kept, and there are plenty of private bathrooms. It didn’t feel like a hostel at all!

Good for the price
The Secret Garden Hotel is a good value for the money. It is located in Kazimierz - the former Jewish quarter of Krakow. The hotel is located close to tram and bus lines making it convenient to Wawel Hill and the central square. Hotel works as a hostel with shared bathrooms. Really not a problem, but floors were a bit wet in the morning after several people had showered. Minimal wait however. Kitchen was nice with tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was free, but does not include that much.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you stay at The Secret Garden, be sure to purchase a multi-day transit pass. These are good for all trams and busses in Krakow, and if you are going to be staying in Krakow for a few days it is well worth it.

clean and good condition.
I enjoyed my stay here. the hotel was clean and freshly painted. The breakfast was good and staff was helpful. The only trouble was that the walls were thin and it was noisy well past the quiet time of 10pm.
