Quiet and Comfortable
This motel is close to Washington and Lee University, so it was convenient for us because of the location. We spent 4 nights there and every night was very quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Old - Simple - Clean
Its an old building - shaped like an older motel - like a strip mall. One floor; all doors open to the outside. No entertainment, pool, restaurant, etc. Nothing in the immediate area. It was clean & quiet but that is all I can say good about it. It was not all that much cheaper than a better hotel like the Holiday Inn Express closer to town.
Definitely NOT for families with small kids. There was one table to sit at for "breakfast" and that was right next to the check-in counter in the tiny lobby.

Ok in a pinch -- just a place to sleep
The motel is basic accommodation. All we did there was watch a little tv and sleep. Our room seemed clean enough. We were there for an event at the Virginia Horse Center, and the commute was easy... about 10 minutes.
