Dont be fooled by star ratings
This is not a boutique hotel. It is a small run-down hotel in a great location. Our room was non-smoking, except for the last 20 years of smokers who inhabited. Carpet was stained, paint was scuffed, peeling and it just didnt smell right. Spend a few dollars more and look for a better hotel in the area. There are many.

AGAIN ANYTIME
right on busy street but easy to load/unload car late night or Sunday am; cheapest room may be small with grungy carpet, but upgrade gets luxury space, cleanliness, fridge; quiet room regardless; great breakfast/lunch restaurant inside, open early, professional waiters; service desk responsive and accommodating; vehicle parking secure and cheap 3 blocks away; King subway station only yards away

Small but nice
This certainly does not have the most spacious rooms in Toronto, but the rooms were clean and comfortable for two people. With Expedia we got a relatively affordable price that made it worthwhile, especially since Hotel Victoria is right in the middle of the action on Yonge Street. It was a good time for a good price.
