Bring your own towels
This is a place to stay if you have no choice or are limited on $$. The place is in need to upgrading and the towels they provide have either tears in the them or are stained! I kid you not. The people who work there are nice but the owner need to spend some money to upgrade the bathrooms.
Be aware that Dollar rent a car and I am sure others are charging if you bring back the rental car EARLY? They claim its in the contract which no one reads.

HATE IT!! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE EXTERIOR

Needs Investment In Hotel
This hotel needs to spend some money and update. The carpet is old and dirty. The furniture is scratched and dirty. It could be a very nice place if some capital was invested in it. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was a plus. The grounds were very nice. But, I would look for another hotel next time I visit Modesto.
