Great location, small room
This hotel was fine, but not above average. The room was rather small, and had a business feel. The lighting was very dim, especially in the bathroom, which was a little annoying, and this is not the place where you can unpack your bags because they didnt have much storage space....no drawers, and only a small closet. The hotel is part of the Paris press building and only has about 40 rooms so it is not a real touristy hotel, but it had the essentials: desk staff, a doorman, a small cafe and a restaurant. The staff was nice and competent, though, so no real complaints. One word of warning...they dont seem to want you to take a shower...they only have a half glass partition, so you have to stand in the far corner of the tub and try not to splash too much. Just ask for extra towels to clean up afterwards :-) The best thing about this hotel is its location - its right around the corner from the Champs-Elysees, within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, the Arc DTriumph, the Seine River, all the fancy shops, a metro stop, etc. We really enjoyed the location.
If you want to visit the Eiffel Tower, buy one of the dinners on the Eiffel Tower through Expedia. It was super easy, and you eat at a great restaurant on the Eiffel Tower (best meal we had in Paris) and the best part is, you dont have to stand in line to go up on the elevators. You go to the little hut in the middle of the square under the Eiffel Tower and give them your reservation sheet from Expedia and you buy your lift ticket there and get priority space in line, which was awesome, because the line was incredibly long and incredibly slow. So it was worth it just so you get to cut in line, but the meal, the view and the service was incredible too, so bottom line: Order the dinner through Expedia before you leave the States!

Sofitel Champs Elysses-Paris
Great Boutique hotel! Entire staff was friendly. We arrived and our room had been upgraded to a Deluxe--king bed, courtyard view, and a desk area. Internet was free in the room which was very nice. We had a free breakfast with our stay for a few of the days. I would not pay for the breakfast, as it is pricey. This hotel was very quiet and close to the metro, and most bus stops.

Solid 4 Star near Champs Elysees
The room was very impeccable and the modern decor was perfect. The service was great and the hotel staff was very hospitable, they even let me check out at 2 pm. The bed was extremely comfortable, luxurious actually and the space was plentiful, especially for Paris. The concierge staff was extremely helpful, especially Prado, who was great! The only thing is that its a 5-10 minute walk from the main Champs Elysees strip so if the temperature is cold, then even this short trip can be uncomfortable. I will definitely look into staying there again next time Im in Paris.
