Great location
One block from downtown Banff so almost everything is within walking distance. Saturday night was a bit noisy with drunks arguing outside. Shutting the windows took care of that! We would definately stay there again.
Traveler's tip on dining

Good location
Great location. Big plus is a Safeway Supermarket so close to the hotel (2 mins walk). Everything seems to be quite expensive in Banff. You can save money by getting a quick lunch or dinner at Safeway. With the fridge, we were able to get drinks, fruits, etc. One minor negative is you can hear train whistling if you keep the windows opened through the night. It didnt bother us except one morning I heard the trains at 6am. Besides that, our hotel room was quiet. With a GPS, use Safeway as destination and you will skip the busy traffic on Banff Avenue in the afternoon/evening.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you already have a Safeway Club card from your hometown, you can use it or your home number to get the store sales discount.
