Good hotel with somewhat inconvenient location
Overall the Holiday Inn provides good value for money, but is not as centrally located as other hotels. If you want to use the shuttle bus from Kyoto train station, note that unlike other hotel shuttles that stop right by the curb, the Holiday Inn’s shuttle is across the street.
Traveler's tip on shopping
the supermarket in the basement of the adjacent shopping center has a great selection of Japanese food/drink, all at supermarket prices! its a great way to live as the locals do
