A first-class gem in Beijing!
The Westin Beijing Chaoyang is an absolute delight! A gorgeous hotel with great rooms, first-class service, and terrific food! This is now my standard hotel whenever I’m in Beijing, whether my meetings are in the financial district or elsewhere. It’s also a quick trip to the airport, serving as a great launching ground for my many meetings in the city. Very highly recommended!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Since this is a very new hotel, take the time to make sure that you bring directions to the hotel in Chinese - some of the taxi drivers still aren’t familiar with its location (Chaoyang is northeast of Beijing city, just past halfway to the airport from the center of the city). Trips to the airport are usually a quick 15-20 minute ride, and downtown is usually about 30-35 minutes away.
