Eden in Cebu
My daughter and I had a fantastic experience at the Shangri-la Mactan, which was recommended to us by work colleagues. For us the higlight was the easy snorkeling through the marine preserve past literally 100s of brightly-colored fish. But with two pools, an arcade, salong, gym and the fantastic Chi spa, the Shangri-La has something for everyone.
If breakfast is included in your stay, get to the restaurant early! If you linger in bed until 10 am you will face quite a crowd at the buffet line, and will have to wait a bit for coffee or hot drinks.

Free mango
Maid left mangos every mornings for free. Mango was soooooooooo good. My daughter wants to go back for the mangos~~

Fantastic Place
Excellent resort! Only real downside is the relatively expensive meals (but try the Chinese restaurant, as it’s quite reasonably priced).

It’s worth spending an afternoon in downtown Cebu City and having a look at the historical sites.
