Very Impressive!!!

Wonderful room, fantastic setting , and everyone was very helpful! It was close to the downtown and shops .We could not have been happier there! We would love to stay there again!

Traveler's tip on dining

Instead of the buffet at breakfast, we had the continental breakfast which was perfect and wasn’t as pricey. Beautiful view from the dining room...

AMAZING, absolutely perfect experience!

This was such an amazing place to stay! We researched a lot of the other resorts and B&Bs in the area, and this one came far away the best, and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The beach is beautiful, the pool area is amazing (great for adults and kids, and you can see the beach and ocean from your chair, without the sand), and the room was amazing! We stayed in one of the beach view villas, and we loved having a little deck to sit out on and watch the boats come in at night. We had such an amazing time, and everyone was so helpful. I highly recommend!

Traveler's tip on shopping

The village Main St. isn’t far, and has all kinds of darling shops and restaurants, bakeries, etc. You can either walk or drive and park, and it is delightful!

A little tough with a 2-year old

The hotel is a great place to come with kids; there are plenty of activities but they are restricted to children 4-years and older. While we were certainly able to enjoy the beach and pool with our toddler, the lack of organized activities for him meant no "adult" time for us. We would have used the babysitting service recommended by the hotel but their prices ($30/hour) and terms were very, very high (we pay much less at 5-star hotels in Manhattan and London). The room was comfortable but there were a few things that did not work propoerly, including the room service menu that is only accessible through the TV. The hotel did a good job of rapidly installing a chain lock on our door because our son could easily unlock and open the door (one would think this would be a frequent request with all the young children at the resort- and these should be standard in all rooms.) The F&B options were also limited with a young child; the clambake held nightly M-F was great but its the same menu every night and is over $70 per person.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The hotel doesn’t publicize a few options when dining; the buffet breakfast is available as a continental buffet at half the price of the full buffet and, for the evening clambake buffet- if you don’t have a lobster you are charged a youth price that is roughly half of the regular adult price.
