Nice outdoor pool

The hotel served was in a good location to shops, restaurants and major highways.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was very curteous. The hotel breakfast service was expensive, but there were a number a restaurants which were reasonably priced within several blocks of the hotel. The pool area was very nice but needed a few extra lounge chairs. The gym was clean and well equipped. The hotel was centrally located for the suburbs and worked well for us. We would consider staying there again.

Great location

We spent a week in mid june and this hotel was very nice. The staff was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. Location was great for us as we could escape the crowded parts of the city when we were through sightseeing but could get easily to anything we wanted

Traveler's tip on local attractions

We went on line and purchased the city pass at a great savings. You can easily drive to all locations but parking is a problem and dont plan on circling blocks as most left hand turns are not allowed during the day. we also spent a day driving around contry roads towards lake simco, found some nice winerys and lovely people

I stay here often. Just upgraded lobby and rooms. Very impressed.

i love this place. You will not be dissapointed and it is a great location from the airport. Highly recommend the hotel and staff.

Easy commute from airport and cheaper than downtown hotels.

Toronto Hotel

We checked in New Years eve , for a funeral the next day, the noise was unbearable, First room was next to a room that sounded as if there were 50 drunken peope in it. The Hotel moved us. The food is poor and Very expensive. Room was good as always. Carpet in elevators and some other common areas was well worn and dirty. would stay there again.

Hotel is just great. Stayed there many times and it is my first choice. Just don’t get stuck on floors 1 to 3, as construction noise is bothersome. Ask for a tower room.

Unfortunately in the middle of renovations. Room itself was very comfortable.

Great family hotel

We’ved stayed at the Westin for many years. It is a well priced comfortable hotel withfree parking. The hotel lobby and front portico are undergoing renovation. We arrived in the pouriing rain,couldn’t park close to the entrance and got drenched getting our bags to the bellman. If you don’t mind staying north of the city it is a good place to stay.

Check out the Ontario Science Center it’s fabulous for kids and adults alike

Awesome hotel, staff, grounds

My family and I stayed 3 nights, took the bus from the stop in the front of the hotel to the subway in order to get around the city, worked great. The hotel was undergoing some renovation, which was a bummer, but it was very clean and quiet. Staff was super nice and accommodating, and the grounds were a real treat to walk around. We’ll stay here next time we visit Toronto!

Decent hotel to stay

The hotel was under multi-million dollar renovation construction during our stay. However, the front desk staff could have been little more friendlier to help with things around. For example, when asked they showed us how to get to the pool. On way back from pool, the elevators were not working, but there were no signs. We waited & waited & there were no signs for stairs going back up to the hotel room either. Finally, we called the front desk from the phone @ the pool (no attendant at the pool either). They said somebody will be there soon to help us. Nobody showed up. We finally managed our way back up & told the front desk about the elevator issues. They just ignored us & pretended as if they are very busy. Other than that, hotel is clean & neat to stay.

Under construction?

Even though the hotel was under construction it is a very beautiful place. The staff is very nice, and the rooms are terrific. The room service is quick, a little pricey, but very good. Planning another trip to Canada, and this where I will be staying again.

Good for business trip only

Very friendly & helpful staff. But he hotel is far from Downtown and nothing is close. You need to take the bus/subway or need to drive.

nice, not convenient

Lovely hotel, great service. Located in the middle of no where. Beautiful grounds and a wonderful runners spot is next door. The restaurant had little to offer and poor service, so I set off on foot with no luck. A taxi ride later, I was able to find life again.

A good and pleasant hotel

The hotel is nice, clean, and a good value. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Central if you need to be in the city sometimes, the suburbs at others.

There is a Tim Horton’s donuts in walking distance for economical breakfasts and snacks!

The great heavenly bed..

Good value but the common areas need to be renovated.

not impressed

(1) poor service at the cafe. waited for long time to be serve without luck. (2) no bell boy to help with lugages (3) restroom was a mess, no shower cap etc. (4) I would expect more from a 4 star rated hotel

I am not sure I would go back to this Hotel

I can’t remember ever a stay at a Westin Hotel with such beatiful property but less then adequate services. There was no concierge on duty, the service at the lounge bar was not up to par withthe Westin. They charged for self parking in a open lot.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

I would use the Toronto subway which was very close to the gotel for transportation to and from the city. the traffic during the day is horrible

Internet Access Did Not Work!!

Their Internet access did not work and they were unable to get it to work! I wasted two hours on the phone with their totally incompetent tech support and they couldn’t get me access. As if that was not bad enough, the restaurant was horribly over-priced and the food was AWFUL!!!! I would never stay here again.

Very nice hotel

The only bad thing was that when I asked for a wake up call, they didn’t set it up or simply forgot to wake me up in the morning.

Disappointing

Was disappointed with the service at the Westin Prince. The "concierge" staff were fine at hailing taxis (which were waiting in the driveway), but not much help otherwise. Were not able to assist with any other travel arrangements (i.e. transportation downtown, suggestions on were to go downtown, nearby restaurants,etc.) The shower had no temperature control (unless you had a wrench or some other type of tool). The dial would just spin and spin but do nothing...like the threads were stripped or something. This was reported to the front desk, but not taken care of during my 2-day stay. Because I had to travel on business on my birthday, my director and secretary were thoughtful, and tried to have flowers delivered to the hotel. They contacted the hotel, and the staff would not accomodate this, because they "didn’t have time, but maybe they could do it tomorrow, if she wanted to call back" I’ve never had a probelm at any other Westin before, and have never written a negative review, but this stay was rather disappointing.
