Great spa. That’s it.
the Reflections Spa is wonderful, with very competent and pleasant staff. Better than Elizabeth Arden in New York, for instance. But the hotel, although not bad, is average, nothing extraordinary. The service is amateurish, e.g. the valets in particular were very inefficient and confused, Bringing my car out, then another one re-parking it before I had a chance to get in! The worst: housekeeping staff yelling on their walkie talkies in the corridor, keeping us up. Restaurants: La Tour, overpriced, overrated, provincial, don’t go there. Bistro: much better: simpler, but honest food.
If you don’t live too far away (we live in NYC, about 1 hour away) I would advise going to spend the day at the Spa, without bothering with a hotel stay. You might enjoy the golf too.

Avoid the airports and stay here
We live in Rockland County. It was a beautiful trip from home without any turbulence. The only issue we had was that our safe did not work upon arrival. We called the front desk and maintenance was in our room within 5 minutes to fix it. I commend this servie as it was unexpected. We had excellent dinners at 2 of the onsite restaurants. The only negative I would say is we were not impressed with the breakfast buffet or menu- next time we will bring our own. Other then that it was a very nice and relaxing time. We loved the spa too!

Nice place to stay but.............
The hotel grounds and rooms beautiful. The restaurant and bar area were quite small and VERY busy on the Saturday night of our stay. Tipped the maid each day and one day she didn’t even make the bed. Just straightened out the sheets and comforter. I also felt it was a little overboard to charge a gratuity and delivery fee for room service. I do know how to tip. I think I will look elsewhere next time I visit the area.
