Turnpike/Truckstop Motel
This is a typical motel; inexpensive, uninteresting, a place to spend as little time as possible. After opening the door of the room for the first time, we were met with a dank, musty smell that made us evaluate whether we should just check out right then. However, there were few options, so we left the door open to air it out and turned the fan on high. The smell dissipated gradually. The place served its purpose, but I would try for someplace else next time, if I ever go back to that area.
The purpose of the trip was to visit Fallingwater, the home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in Mill Run, PA, which is about 45 minutes away from Somerset. Visiting in mid-October added spectacular color to the drive through the winding roads to the site.

A very good deal
We were really pleased with our room. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more friendly and the check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier. The room was a really good baragin for the money.
