Has some problems...
Overall our experience was okay. A few problems though that would keep me from recommending the place. First, the valet lost our car key during the time (10 minutes or so) that we were checking-in and dropping our things in the room. The valet was not busy; there were only two cars in the drive and maybe fifteen or so in the parking garage. Valet is handled by a third-party service (although this isn’t immediately obvious) so hotel management was not terribly responsive when we complained. They did find our key after several minutes of frantic searching, but we found their lack of professionalism unacceptable. Along the same lines, the daily parking fee is much too expensive. This hotel is in a suburban area with plenty of space. The parking fee is gratuitous, a real "nickel and dime" type of charge. Secondly, we were there in September ’09 and the mall across the street was undergoing renovation. They were working at night (while the mall was closed, I guess) and there was substantial noise one night and morning we were there. Also, our room was missed by housekeeping one day. We may have just had some bad luck but I probably would not stay there again based on our experience with the valet and because of the excessive parking fees.
