You get what you pay for
This is an old, well worn hotel/motel. Old (70’s brown) appliances in the "recently" remodelled room. The Internet pictures are not a true reflection of what you will get. I will say that the staff was good when we did deal with them. We got an incredible price on the room that we kept telling ourselves made staying at this place for a week worth it. An overview...we had filthy feet from the carpet, it’s old, the location however is great. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Malls, restaurants, Odl Towne, downton San Diego, beaches all within a short drive. Lesson learned though, you get what you pay for... next trip, we won’t be so cheap.

Only problem I had is when we made reservations it was a room with a king bed. We tried to check in early and were told we would have to comeback at 4pm, they verrified that we had reservations for a king bed. When I checked in at 4pm we received a room with 2 queen beds and were stuck by the elevator. You could here the elevator going most of the night. I won’t stay there again.

It was a nice place to stay, conviently near the highway and had great prices.
