No Tell Motel
If all you want to do is shower, sleep and take off, then, La Quinta, Midland is for you. If a slimy shower, questionable cleanliness of the bed, damp carpets and odd smells bother your sensibilities, you probably should look elsewhere. The recession surly shows here and will ultimately hurt the motel if they don’t pick up the pace.

This is just a typical hotel room
Nice clean place to stay for a couple of nights. Not a resort. They furnished a microwave and small refrigerator free of charge which was nice. We were visiting relatives in Midland so we didn’t spend a lot of time there except to sleep. Bed was clean and comfortable.

I won’t go back.
Both my room and the room of my business colleague were dirty. She had crumbs all over her carpet and chair and my room had a pile of dirt by the door. The security chain in my room had been ripped off also. My minimum for a room is clean and safe and neither was satisfied.
