First time in Vancouver
The hotel was within walking distance from Robson street and the beach! Terrific room and view. Also, you could walk to dining locales without driving. The staff was very very friendly. My room had a living room and a kitchen complete with a full size refrigerator and microwave. I also had a balcony to where I could just walk out onto and catch some sun or look at the people below. The hotel room looked like a mini apartment. The spa there was awesome!!! I look forward to visiting Vancouver and staying there at the hotel again.

Dumpy rooms
The pictures of this hotel on the website look beautiful, and the lobby absolutely was updated and modern. The rooms were a completely different story! The couch was worn out and very dirty. The tv was very old and remote didnt work. The beds were uncomfortable and our room was right next to a hospital, complete with sirens at all hours of the night. It was raining during our visit and the hotel windows were not protective against the rain; we had to actually wipe down water from inside the windows from the condensation. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was very convenient for downtown, but there are certainly better hotels in BC to stay at (e.g. the Metropolitan).
