Best customer service ever.
This hotel was by far the most impressive experience I have ever had. The staff was absolutely amazing. Food was great. Pool bar great.
Go the end of October or beginning of November. The weather is great.

Classy place!
We absolutely loved staying at the Riu Palace. From the minute we walked in they had somebody wanting to cater to our every need. Impressive staff. Gorgeous hotel. All junior suites. Good food. I can’t wait to go back. You’ll love it!

A Wonderful Experience
We went to the Riu Palace as a couple and booked it last minute. We chose the Riu Palace over other resorts when booking online because it had positive reviews and it is a new hotel in an established chain of hotels. Service was great, from the front desk, to the twice daily maid service, to the attentive beachside waitress. Service during meal times was overall very good, but suffered during busy times. Our room was exactly what we had booked, with a beautiful ocean view. We did go during low season, which was nice because the resort was not busy at all. Hotel is very clean and new. Would encourage guests to book the specialty restaurants on arrival, as the food there seemed better and buffet food gets old after a while. The buffet food was better than other all inclusives I have been to. Riu Palace is on a beautiful beach with lots of coastline to walk if you want. Water is not crystal clear and waves can be big, which was not a big deal to us. This resort is perfect for lounging at beach/pool , eating and drinking, but located about 30 min north of PV and isolated save other resorts. It is about 20 min north of the airport. We did take a cab into PVR ($20 each way) and spent an afternoon there, which was fine, but very touristy and more expensive than it should be. If I had to do it over again, I would go further north to explore other towns on the Rivera Nayarit. Overall, a wonderful resort and exactly what we were looking for: a place to get away and relax.
