I had made a reservation trough expedia and requested a room with microwave since I have a baby and needed to warm up his food, they didn’t put me in a room the way I asked, the first day I went to the lobby and asked the bartender of the bar by the front door to warm up the baby’s food and was prompted attended but in the second day of my stay the bartender of the time was awfully rude so I had to request to be moved to another room and had to do it myself. both rooms had hair in the tubs and so I had also to wash it before using and the smell of smoke in both was also strong (even though I reserved a non-smoke room) it is far from new orleans itself . stay if u have to

Can’t wait to go back to this hotel
Wonderful stay! Sleep-comfort bed, quality room, with very efficient services provided. Close to the interstate for car travel into the city (20 minutes), and found the comforts of the hotel itself - quite accommodating. Several good restaurants along the hotel strip, and convenient WalMart store for un-packed products 3 blks away.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Great New ORelans-styled restaurants close by, with reasonable prices. A hugh WalMart Superstore just down the street for any shopping needs, and the hotel was clean, quiet, accommodating.
