Days Inn Tulsa review by Barbara Murray
The staff saved the day by being so polite, but the accommodations presented quite a challenge in the beginning. This is an old motel, very reasonably priced. The first room we entered had two large bugs in it, so we couldnt stay there at all. We were given another room immediately, but the air conditioner did not work properly and we were rather warm most of the night. I gave the Days Inn a second chance two weeks later since the staff was so apologetic and they remedied these problems right away for me. I had to change rooms again due to poor air conditioning. However the last room I stayed in was quite nice and for the price, it was just right. The complimentary breakfast was great and saved me a lot of money. The breakfast area was very small, but we all got along and the food was great. The sheets were not fitted and caused some discomfort, but the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was absolutely no noise from other rooms, which I greatly appreciated. The pool was small and had no privacy, but if you have kids, it is probably sufficient, and it was clean. For the price and the excellent service, it was all worth it.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Eat the complimentary breakfast in this motel and save money for dining just around the corner at several good restaurants near 51st and Yale. Save some leftovers and store them in the frig at your room. Ask if theres a microwave - my second room didnt have one. Ask for the hospital discount and/or other senior discounts, etc.

I stay for 2 nights. Not a bad location and a good price. Other reviews complained of noise from the highway. I didnt notice.
