Hotel staff quite rude
Was sleeping soundly in the afternoon (jetlag) when my wife and I heard really loud banging on the door. Opened the door and a hotel staff came to change a light bulb, which we did not request for. Considering that the hotel is supposed to be ’5 stars’, it would be really nice if they could have at least phoned us first.....

Now My Favorite Hotel Ever!
I stayed at 10 different hotels while on holiday this summer. The Crowne Plaza Darwin was by far the nicest hotel of all of them and perhaps the nicest hotel that I’ve ever had the opportunity to stay in. The staff were most helpful, the location was excellent, my rooms (stayed there at the beginning and the end of my trip in Australia) were clean, comfortable and practical. They have a guest laundry which was very useful and the restaurant in the hotel was easily accessible and had great food! Two thumbs up for the Crowne Plaza in Darwin!

The hotel has a complimentary, hourly shuttle bus, during the day, that takes you to and from the Causarine Shopping Center It’s free!! The Center is huge with every kind of shop that you might need.
