Worst Bed Ever!
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night in early November 2009. By 4 a.m., neither one of us could stand to lay in the bed any further as it was as hard as a rock. The next morning I went to the clerk to see if their was something that we could do about the bed such as changing rooms, a matress pad, anything. To my surprise we were told that there was nothing that could be done. So, we checked out and moved over to the Days Inn just down the street which is an older hotel but one with much more comfortable beds. My advice, save yourself the hassle and discomfort and skip the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Brookings all together. Frankly, it would have been more comfortable to sleep in our car!
