Sunrise view from balcony!
Hubby and I needed a weekend getaway. this was a second trip to this hotel. location is on the beach and cost is efficient. hotel staff is helpful and friendly. no place to eat after 10pm.
visit historic sights around the island; enjoy the "quiet"

Older hotel, but cant beat the view
This is older hotel. bathroom had rusty fixtures and water pressure+ hot/cold issues were a bit of a problem. A/C was the older below the window unit. Service was good at front desk. View and beach access were perfect. Restaurant was real good at dinner, but then not so good for breakfast, so mixed review there. Overall, we had a good stay.

Needed repair
The hotel was older and needed quite a bit of maintenance on the outside. There was a 1 inch crack in the outside wall of our room facing the ocean. I asked the clerk at the desk if there were plans to renovate, and he seemed confused by the question, so I assume no. There were only stairs up to the second floor, no elevator, and the ice machine was not convenient to all rooms. The should have had two machines.
