Lovely, quite place in a busy location
Although the Villa Ducale is located on the main artery between downtown Parma and the Autostrade, the grounds of the hotel are beautifully laid out so that as soon as you enter the gates, you’re in a different world. All the staff members are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. My room was a bit small, but French doors led to a terrace running the whole side of the hotel, so there was plenty of room to spread out. The restaurant was excellent, with some of the best food I had in Italy this trip, and again the waiters were exceptionally nice. I would definitely recommend My One Hotel Villa Ducale.
Traveler's tip on dining
The restaurant was closed on Sunday night (since I was there in low season), so I highly recommend going to a restaurant in Parma that night if you want a full dinner -- there’s nothing open on Sunday within walking distance of the hotel except a McDonald’s...

A pleasent surprise
This is a very nice hotel conveniently located close to an important freeway. The stay was pleasent with friendly staff, clean and modern surroundings and comfortable room. It is very easy to reach the historical centre (downtown) of Parma, which is about 2 miles away.

OK Hotel
This hotel was good for an overnight stay but I wouldn’t stay for an extended time. Hair dryer was like a vacuum cleaner hose! Good food nearby and the staff was accomodating.
