Paradise for the price
The resort is situated in a beautiful South Pacific, tropical location. The original bungalow was upgraded free of charge by the resort to an over-the-water room after there was a problem with the air conditioning and availability of a garden bungalow. This made all the difference in the overall experience of the resort. It was wonderful!!! Meals and additional outings are very expensive in Tahiti because of the dollar/euro exchange ratio. The resort provided free sailing on a hobiecat, canoeing, snorkle diving, kayaking and swimming. Hotel staff was courteous and gracious. Water taxis are provided hourly but sometimes deviated from the schedule.

Great Getaway
Bora Bora Lagoon beach Hotel is a little slice of heaven from the coconut drink and lei welcome to the shell necklace upon departure. the hotel provides most everything you need--beach towels, snokeling equipment, paddle bosts, kayaks, and beach lounges. The staff is very helpful in making excursion arragements. The excursions are a fun way to see extensive parts of the lagoon that you can not see on your own. A great way to meet other guests from all countries. offering to take a couples picture together for them is a surefire ice-breaker. The boat Taxis to the mailand of Bora Bora operate on an adequete schedule, but it helps to keep that in mind while making plans. Dress comfortablly with maybe afew casual dresses for females in the party. If you are not honeymooning or easily bored take some activities for yourself. We had fun watching DVD’s of a TV series that we had brought along--only 1 hour a night.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Definitely do some excursions, being careful that they do not duplicate experiences. The spa is terrific. Treat yourself! Sometimes excursions begin early if you could stick a box of granola bars and maybe some individual drink mixes into your suitcase, that could see you through until lunch.
