Good value for the money
My fiancee and I stayed at this quaint hotel perfectly situated on a cliff overlooking the caldera. The sunset that greated us upon our arrival was breathtaking. The staff; in particular, the manager was attentive to our needs and made planning our days easy. He gave us accurate informattion on the island and made suggestions on how best to enjoy our brief stay there. When we missed the ferry to Rhodes he quickly assisted us in securing a flight within hours of its departure. Breakfast was served on our balcony each morning while we savoured the view. If a you need a hotel with a good sized bathroom (larger than a closet) this is not the place. If not this place is a gem. We would definitely recommend this hotel to the budget conscious traveller.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Santorini - Rent a car (hotel arranged for us) see the island at your leisure, furthermore we were able to return the car to the airport for no additonal charge. Visit: Santos Wines Pyrgos (for panoramic view of the island) Art Space (small winery and art studio) and our favorite Oia Take a boat tour and see the Red Beach, White Beach and the landscape from the water. Good place to eat - Imorogivli Tavern great food, atmosphere and service

The best location
Location, location, location! If you want to stay in the best area of Santorini, and want the best view of the caldera... then you must stay in Villa Apolafsi. Its perfectly located in highest peak of the caldera, in Imerovigli. The hotel it self is very well maintained, and the rooms are not huge, but are very cute, with kitchenette and a decent bathroom. The best thing is waking up and having the breakfast served at your private balcony, and then seeing that beautiful sunset in the end of the day. The service is not bad also. The manager was great and helped us rent the car and the ATV to roam around the island.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Rent a 4-wheel/ATV! Its the best! You can go all over the island and enjoy everything. Its cheap as you can get a good ATV for about 25$ a day. Def worth it!!! The only bad thing about it would be driving it at night if you are going somewhere far like Oia, since its pretty dark at night and chilli. So if you want to go out at night a lot, then a small car or smart-car would be ideal, but much more pricey.

Great place in Imerovigli
Great place to stay for those looking for a romantic and quiet place with kitchenette and caldera views. Having breakfast in your own balcony with a view of the caldera and the aegean sea was magnificent. The family friendly service was wonderful.
Traveler's tip on dining
Approximately 15-20 minute/scenic walk to Fira with choice of tavernas and shopping. Having a kitchenette was great, you can walk to a local bakery and food stores to make your own Mediterranean meals. Imerovigli is between Fira and Oia. Very convenient location.
