Is a practical hotel
I like the hotel because the prices are lows and the rooms are comfortables. It is located near of all. More over, has security box, micro oven and a small refrigerator and others comodities. I recomend this hotel to my friends

Simple and effective
You get what you paid for, is what I always believed. I definitely got a little more than that. For the price, I got an decent room for the weekend, a surprisingly comfortable bed and great access to everything I wanted during my stay. I will most likely consider this my first choice again when looking for a good inexpensive weekend getaway.

Gross rooms!
The hotel room wasn’t all the way clean when we checked in. It was like they got busy in the middle of cleaning and forgot to finish. The room service came at really odd times, sometimes 7 am or 1pm...you never knew when they were coming! We found old food on the floor and had to pay $20 to use the iron! I wouldn’t go back there!

Excellent Choice
Very friendly staff, great price, clean and spacious rooms, convenient location. I would definetely stay at this hotel on my next visit.

There is a steak house in the parking lot. Great food and prices.

Problem with entry card
Stayed three nights at this hotel and two days in a row my entry card would not open the door. I had to go to the front desk and have them I guess reset it and both times I was not told what the problem was and I didn’t ask I just went back each time and it worked. Also the ad on expedia said one of the ammenities was an iron but when I went to my room my wife found no iron so I went to the front desk and was told I had to put a $10.00 deposit but I was never told this when I checked nor was I told about the complimentary breakfast or given the times they served it or it was available I only knew about the times when I went for the iron and I overheard the desk clerk tell a customer who had just checked in

Ruidoso Travelodge is basic
This Travelodge is in a great location. Very convenient to area businesses and attractions. We were given a room away from traffic, which was nice. The room was clean and the bathroom fixtures new, although touch up painting had not been done since the replacement. This Travelodge is in need of cosmetic upgrade and better maintenance before it would receive a better rating from me.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Be sure to visit The Log Cabin for breakfast!! It is great, and obviously a local favorite. Ruidoso is a very interesting community. I could spend more time there. Lots of visitors from Texas. Visit Lincoln, NM while you are in the area. This is the place where Billy the Kid got into trouble and was eventually shot.
