Would pass this one up...
I know it was a hotel on Long Island, so the price was outragous even for an Econo Lodge. But at least they could have cleaned the long black hairs that were stuck on the edge of the tub. The sink was also broken and didn’t drain. On a possitive note the man at the counter was very nice and helpful. I wouldn’t reccommend staying here for the money.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Long Island is expensive, even public transportation. Try and get a Metra Card, daily, three day or weekly pass, at Penn Station, Jamacia Station or Grand Central. It may help cut down the costs of transportation throughout the city.

great value
This was a surprisingly decent place for a ’budget’ motel. Well situated, back from the highway, and reasonably priced. We had a smoking room though we are not smokers -- it was a good price -- so there was that lingering smokers smell and burn marks.

Great place for the price and location...
No frills to speak of, but no complaints either (probably the nicest e-lodge I have ever stayed in).
