Beautiful "European-style" hotel

I was very pleased with this hotel. The bathroom has somewhat unusual style for an American hotel, for example a European handle-type shower in addition to the normal shower head. Everything was very elegant and modern, but without sacrificing comfort. The only downside was the distance from the city of Boston, if that’s your destination. But if you’re OK with paying a few dollars in tolls it’s really not to difficult to get to the city. The price is a little higher than a budget-conscious person would want to pay but if you want quality, it’s worth it!

If you plan on relying on your GPS to get around Boston, be careful. There are a lot of tunnels, and the exits inside the tunnels can be confusing. You may want to get directions ahead of time to make sure you don’t lose your GPS signal at an important moment!

Peaceful Stay

Place was very quiet. Heated pool very relaxing. Wish it had a hot tub/whirlpool though.

Amazing New Hotel Concepts

The Elements is a new concept hotel, may not be fully appreciated by people still holding the traditional concepts of hotels. With Elements you pay the money for all the necessity of your stay, e.g. large room, large bed, comfortable sofa, desk and chairs. No money is wasted in pretentiousness, faux elegance and illusional sophistication of ambient. I especially like a few things: the cart that you can push your own luggage to your room in case you have more than one to handle. I am never a fan of the bellboys. The free Internet, both in your own room and in the lobby where the layout is more like an Internet Cafe with good lighting and a view to the pool. The complimentary breakfast that is healthy, hearty, and with so many items to choose from. I would recommend Elements for business and leisure travelers but not for families with small kids. The hotel is more like an adult community rather than a family neighborhood. I would like it to keep it that way.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Bring as much food as you want. The suite is equipped with anything you need for cooking. Eating out is easy too. We ate at the Lexx in Lexington, about 2 miles from the hotel. This place has very good food and services. Dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine was $80, without dessert. Hotel has shuttle to Boston saving your parking fee at least $35. Bring your bike, the nearby minuteman bikeway is a great place to spend a few hours with nature and history. It is free.
