Small room - motel type of service
This motel room is small and very typical if you want to compare with motel 6 type of accomondation. For the price we paid, we get a room close to the major traffics. Not much of service, the service desk close at 8 pm, if you are late checking in, you are out of luck. they also close from 12 pm to 2 pm for employee lunch, this gives you pretty good idea of self service type of motel. room does have a flat TV, but the quality is not good.
Not much of attractions downtown, things can get very expensive here. the better place to stay probably will be close to Mondecino, if this is your destination. this is just a one night stay place, both town and lodging have very little attraction to us.

Great bang for the buck
I recently spent two nights at the Surf Inn. This is a great place to stay and take day trips up the coast... especially for the price. The room was nice with an extremely comfortable bed and the tv and dvd were great for ending the day. The breakfast is good and the view is spectacular. Noise was a bit of an issue but this is a really nice place to stay.

I should keep this secret . . .
The Surf is perfectly located in this charming town. There is a great sunset to view from the back of the property. The staff was really courteous and helpful. The restaurants in town are great, too.
