Decent Hotel for KCI

We stayed at this hotel because of the great deal we found ona room on expedia, but were already planning on driving to kc anyway. We found this hotel out of our way to the north side of kc. The hotel appeared fairly well maintained, and the public areas were clean. Our primary complaint is that betwen our first and second night the housekeeping staff did not vacum or clean the sink in the bathroom. This was particulary a turn off for us since we had our one year old daughter with us who would crawl and play on the carpet of the room. The hotel website advertised a bell boy service, which was not avaiable, also there were a limited number of luggage carts.There is no complementry breakfast at this hotel, and the resturnant inside, while good, is more expensive than the quality you receive, good luck trying to find another resturant nearby though... The fixtures in the room also need to be updated. The tv was old and while there was a mini fridge, there was no microwave, all ammenities that came standard at a la quinta we recently stayed in. For this being a Sheraton property we overall were not impressed at all, and quite frankly very dissappointed, however it was clean and rightfully cheap, I thought I was getting a good deal on expedia but in the end paid only the ammount this hotel was worth.

Country Club Plaza, Crown Center, Fritizs Railroad Resturant, Union Station, Science City, Gates BBQ, Holy Smoke BBQ, WWI Museum - Everything KC is great!!

Very pleasant Stay

Stayed overnight in KC. Hotel was extremely clean, staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and not dated. Only problem was that the cover on the AC rattled from time to time, but that wasn’t important. Overall an excellent hotel.

Excellent

This hotel was very clean, comfortable and easy to locate. It was the perfect answer to a spot to end out trip to KC for a good meal and a good night’s sleep before an early trip to the airport.
