Exceptional value in a high-end hotel
Hotel service was exceptional. Our only problems occurred during crowded periods. Our check-in was delayed by a large number of check-ins and limited front-desk staff. Retrieving our car through valet parking was complicated on Saturday evening by conference and other activities in the hotel. Room and amenities were first-rate. Hotel was quiet.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
James Hill mansion tour on Summit Avenue. Numerous art galleries in downtown St. Paul.

Gracious, Comfortable, and Festive!
I loved the St. Paul Hotel. I was a classic old hotel from an era long gone. My room was spacious, the bed and linens comfortable, and the lobby (with three wedding receptions in progress) festive. The complimentary valet parking was a HUGE plus, especially since I did not arrive until almost midnight. The service was delightful. The business center was small, only two computers, but free. Another plus.
Traveler's tip on dining
The wild rice soup off the bar menu (open until midnight) was fantastic.
