Great Location
Nice, clean and central. The bed was uncomfortable, but that was my only major issue. Nice area, restaraunts nearby.

Super 8 wasn’t that super...
I am pretty tolerant, but here are my gripes: 1) The hotel "lost" our reservation when we showed up late, and placed our rooms on opposite sides of the hotel (longest possible walk between rooms); 2) the room hadn’t been cleaned, as evidenced by hairs on the bedsheets and a necklace left by prior occupants; 3) the heater didn’t work - not a big deal when the low for the night was 48F, but not that pleasant, either; 4) the guests in the next room smoked continuously, filling our room with smoke until we shoved damp towels into the door cracks; 5) when informed about the smoking at this supposedly non-smoking hotel the desk clerk just kind of shrugged. So, all-in-all it was OK, and I would stay there again rather than sleep in the car, but this place wouldn’t be on my list unless absolutely necessary.

Adequate
Clean room, well maintained newer hotel. Continental breakfast was very basic. Very inexpensive for a quick stop over in Fresno.
