Outstanding Service, Cool Hotel
The W New York was wonderful--comfortable, functional, and very, very cool. We loved being able to hang out at Whiskey Blue whenever we wanted, and we spent a lot of quality time in the lobby with friends. It’s also as convenient to midtown as you could possibly want, and a lot cheaper than the Waldorf-Astoria across the street. Great place!
Smith and Wollensky is around the corner--great steakhouse and an easy walk.

Great hotel stay
I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but we had a fantastic experience! Staff was very nice at check in, and at check out. Early check in was granted and we thought our room was just fine; yes, it was a little small, but to be expected...it was perfectly clean and had nice touches. We loved the lobby area which was great for hanging out and having a cocktail in. The hotel has a cool vibe, and the service was great. The only group I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for would be kids...it caters more to adults.

The W New York is in a great location. Staff are very helpful. I would stay there again.
