Over 500 parking places are situated around the hotel. The Hotel is ideal because of its central situation and the perfect transport connection. Additional information; From 1st December 2008 till 31st March 2009 some hotel rooms will be renovated. The Hotel remains open at all times with at least 43 rooms in use. The reception area; bar-lounge area; breakfast and business corner are not affected by the work at any time. During weekdays Monday to Saturday and during working hours 8am to 5pm some inconvenience may be experienced due to noise levels. Children age 6 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 7-12 pay CHF 50 per night including breakfast. Children over this age will be considered an adult. Other Child Policy Information; City Tax to be paid from the age of 6 years. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

Great place to stay in Basel
We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Schweizerhof and found it to be a great value. The rooms looked brand new and were tastefully decorated. The location is conveniently located by the train station, and we didn’t hear any traffic noise from our room. The staff was very accomodating when we mentioned that one of us was allergic to down bedding. We also appreciated the complimentary extras. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to people looking for a hotel in Basel.
