Really excellent hotel!
The staff were incredibly friendly and I would definetly recommend staying here. There is free internet access and I would definetly go back there. I was also there for quite a while and its right in the centre of the city, close to McGill and streets away from the main street.

Great location and price!
This was my first trip to Montreal and I loved every second of my stay at Quality Inn Downtown Montreal. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about the hotels in Montreal because there are so many to choose from. However, after some extensive research, I chose Quality because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very courteous staff, great room and location, and great housecleaning staff. The rooms were very clean and staff members never rushed us no matter how late we stayed in our room. Also, staff members were always available to answer our questions and give us directions. Centrally located, we were able to walk to all of the major neighborhoods, attractions, and restaurants! Not bad for such a low rate!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The supermarket/pharmacy across the street and 24 hour coffee shop down the block offer tasty and cheap eats and anything else you might need. Great smoothies at Second Cup down the block!

hotel was disgusting, pee stains on the underneath of the mattress, no hot water in the morning, no water at all in the morning (constrution being done next door). Staff was very rude, the last straw was being overcharged for a bottle of water i drank due to there not being ANY water at all running through the taps. was told a 4 min walk to bell centre, was a 10 min cab ride
