Not Impressed at all
Below average all around. If you do book, make sure to get good directions from a reliable source, it’s off the beaten path and the hotel staff doesn’t give good directions. We’ve stayed at Super 8’s before and this one doesn’t do the company any justice.

Convenient location, friendly staff
The staff was friendly, the location and price were both awesome! The fire alarm for the whole hotel going off on night 2 was a bit of an inconvenience but things happen and the staff was on top of things and got the situation under control more quickly than anticipated. It’s a Motel not a Hotel so I didn’t expect much but it was actually probably the cleanest Mote 8 I’ve ever stayed at and I would stay there again if I were to re-visit the Dallas Galleria area.
I went in July, I’m from Florida so I figured I could handle it...but it was SO HOT. (Over 102 degrees at 7:30 pm when my plane landed @ Dallas/Fort Worth airport)...you may want to save your Dallas visit for Spring or Fall. Also... Taxis in the Dallas are are much more costly than in most major cities. I did not rent a car for my trip b/c it normally costs me less to take cabs in big cities but on my next visit to Dallas I will definitely be renting a car!

Do Not Stay Here - Staff Lies!!
We booked through Expedia for 3 nights and had to checkout one night early due to the death of my father. We checked with Expedia prior to checkout. They gave us a "case number" and said to checkout and call them the next day to get a refund for the third night. At checkout the clerk said we would not be refunded since the booking was for three nights - since we had talked to Expedia we thought he may not understand. When we called Expedia they said the Super 8 had reported that we checked out after a 3 night stay - in other words they lied. Warning - Do not trust this motel!! There are better choices in the area.

If you book more than one night, do not expect a refund if you checkout early - they will not refund for the unused nights.
