Stinky Toilets!!! Great Location!!!
We stayed there 4 nights. The house keeping was half hearted. Did our beds great. Never enough towels, Toilet paper never changed. TOILET SMELLED OF URINE BUT WASN’T CLEANED EVEN AFTER REPEATEDLY INFORMING THE FRONT DESK. Cleaned it myself later.Location Great! Price of Food very expensive.Hope to never stay there again.

THE COLONY WAS LOCATED ON OCEAN FRONT SO IT WAS A NICE LOCATION FOR THE BEACH AND DINNER/BAR ATTRACTIONS; HOWEVER, THE HOTEL WAS TERRIBLE. THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE WERE NOT FRIENDLY OR HELPFUL AND SEEMED TO BE UNCONCERNED ABOUT THE HOTEL OR CUSTOMER SERVICES. ON MOST DAYS THE COMPUTERS WERE BROKE, THERE WERE NO TOWELS AND ON TWO OCCASIONS THERE WAS NO TOILET PAPER. IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING(INCLUDING A TOILET PLUNGER)WE HAD TO COME DOWN TO THE FRONT DESK TO CHECK IF THEY HAD THEM. THE TELEPHONE SERVICE WAS OUT IN OUR ROOM FOR 4 DAYS OF OUR TRIP. THE FIRST DAY OF OUR TRIP THEY WERE DOING CONSTRUCTION ON THE ROOM NEXT TO OURS. (MAYBE THEY SHOULD OF CONSIDERED THAT AND PUT US IN ANOTHER ROOM.) THE ROOMS WERE VERY SMALL BUT CLEAN. THE BEDS HOWEVER, WERE COMFORTABLE. SOME OF THE ROOMS HAD BED FRAMES THAT WERE VERY LOW TO THE GROUND THROUGH. IT COST YOU 22 BUCKS TO VALET PARK YOUR CAR OUTSIDE THE HOTEL(PLUS TIP) NO DISCOUNT FOR HOTEL GUEST. I WOULD NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN. I
Traveler's tip on dining
MOST OF THE OCEAN FRONT RESTAURANTS WERE GOOD BUT EXPENSIVE. HOWEVER, THE PORTIONS WERE GOOD SIZE. YOU CAN GET PRETTY MUCH GET ANY KIND OF FOOD YOU WANT BUT SHOP AROUND. THE PRICES CHANGED EVERY DAY, AND SOMETIMES YOU CAN GET A TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE. BE CAREFUL THOUGH. WE ENDED UP GETTING A GREAT PRICE FOR FOOD BUT PAID 12 BUCKS FOR AN ICED TEA WITH NO REFILLS. CHECK OUT THE FOOD PLACES ON WASHINGTON ST. GOOD PIZZA AND CUBAN FOOD TOO.

I Want To Go Back! The Colony in Miami- Here I Come!
I was extremely satisfied with the Colony Hotel! This was the second time I stayed there this summer. The service was excellent! I was treated like a King!
