Great Experience
We enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn and Suites in the historic district of Savannah. We had three couples staying there and we all had a great time. The hotel is convenient to all the sights that we planned to see. The staff was very helpful in helping us plan our day trips. The breakfast was great and the rooms very nice. We recommend this hotel.
There is a public bus that picks ups close to the hotel that is free of charge. It takes you to market square and the river front. Make sure you take a ghost tour and also visit Moon River Brewing Co. Also, you must eat the Paula Deans the Lady and Sons. Get reservations the AM before you plan to eat there.

Cant fault it!
We were going for a reasonably priced hotel, and we found what is probably one of the best hotels weve stayed at in many years. The desk staff was extremely pleasant and helpful; the concierge (our first time staying at a hotel with a concierge!) suggested some good (if out of our price range) tips; the hotel was quiet (except, I think, for our 18-month-old!) and the breakfast was well-laid-out and enjoyable. All in all, a very good stay.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you have kids, you might want to take them out to Oatland Island Wildlife Center. The first time we went there, it was feeding time; we got to follow the staff around and watch them feed several of the animals. My wife got to touch one of the wolves!

Excellent price and accommodations for historic district
Parking was the only issue due to the fact that customers had to pay for daily use! Should be complimentary with your reservations.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Easy access to visitors center (within walking distance); walking distance to local restaurants.
