great neighborhood hotel
Bloomsbury Radisson is a lovely hotel which is well located -2 blocks from the British Museum-buses and the underground abound. The room was modern and clean with a lovely bathroom. The concierge was extremely helpful in planning our 2 days in London. While the hotel is big you feel that you are not lost in it. Breakfast was quite good.

Too much style over comfort
The Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury St (formerly Marlborough)is superbly located a block from the British Museum and a comfortable walk to West End theatres. The hotel has recently been sleekly remodeled and everything looks very sharp and clean. Elements of our room, however, were a bit too sleek and sharp: (1) the stone surface shower is beautiful but scary slippery and with no shower mat available, (2) bowl sink sitting on top of the bath counter makes accessing any toiletries a real challenge, (3) bath lighting is attractive but not very useful for shaving or makeup, (4) high tech digital thermostat seemed to have a mind of its own and reverted to prior settings despite our best efforts. All in all, a nice hotel in a great location, but someone needed to rein in the designer to make the room more livable.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Highly recommend the London Walks journey to Greenwich. This includes a lovely cruise down the Thames from the Tower Hill tube station and a highly interesting walking tour of the London suburb of Greenwich where you can learn all about the development of our system of latitudes and why time measurement is keyed to GMT.
