Good quality at a great price
I found the hotel to be everything you expect in a Vegas vacation. The Microsoft I-Bar was great, the casino was comparable to those in any of the strip hotels and the slot machines were fair (too bad I didn’t know when to quit...lol) The Carnival Buffet had a tremendous variety for a great price. I tried 4 of the restaurants in the hotel and was not disappointed with any of them. There were several more which I didn’t get around to trying, but they had something for almost every taste...Italian, Seafood Buffet, Irish (the Sheppards Pie was delicious), Indian, American (several), Chinese and Japanese, The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. All in all, great hotel for a great price, Be sure to use your coupon book,
Simply put; there’s something for everyone in Las Vegas. I would suggest people check the weather before coming in fall, winter. It can get cool/cold and not having a jacket could make you uncomfortable so plan ahead for weather changes.

Loved the Rio
The service at check in and the room was great. The room was cozy, updated, and very clean. If you are concidering a room away from the hussle and bussle of the strip the rio is a good choice, besides, you have the greatest buffet at your feet. Even though it’s away from the strip the hotel provides a shuttle to and from paris, ballys, and harrahs. It runs every 30 min.. and it’s usually early at times. I loved the hotel and would really recomend it!
We have gone several times during the year and by far April was the best. We we went to Vegas ends of August and it was still very hot. We went again end of October and we had 1 great day, and the other two very wndy and cold...take a jacket. Jan-Feb VERY COLD.
