Good place to stay in Portland for downtown, Pearl Dist. Northwest area, etc.
Hotel in good location, staff very helpful & accomodating. Room clean but needed a soft chair for reading & relaxing. Only had a couple of hard seat and back chairs used with a table. Only complaint.

Good place to stay
Hotel room was clean, larger than expected and paint and carpet were quite new. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and coffee good. We walked toward the city center both in daylight and after dark and felt comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. It was a good value.

My stay at the Mark Soencer Hotel
It was a quiet and peaceful stay. The staff is very friendly, and the room was spacious and comfortable. There were some minor issues with some maintenance as far as drains and toilets that didn’t work properly, as well as a sleeper sofa that wouldn’t open, but I still enjoyed my stay.
