Palm court inn is what travel is meant to be.

the rooms are clean, well placed in that parking is easily accessed from your room. the location is just minutes from the heart of everything palm springs has to offer, and attached to one of the best breakfast restraunts i’ve ever been to in ANY of my travels!

Not For Us

This is not what we would call a nice hotel. It’s bearable, that’s about it. It is old and worn out. It is maintained just enough to not be filthy. The pool is cloudy despite a cleaning man who makes hours of very loud noise cleaning every morning. If you can’t afford anything better then this will pass. The majority of people staying here pack as many people into one room as they can and have a vacation. All the power to ’em. They all seemed to be having a great time. It’s just not our style.

If you want a cheap place to dump the kids and let them play in the pool all day with a picnic lunch, this is good for you. If you want something nice, it’s not.

HORRIBLE!!!

We looked at this hotel online and it looked like a nice older place to stay. When we got there we were very disappointed! The beds were hard and the towels were rough. The pool wasn’t even heated!!! We were so upset that we ended up leaving a night early (thank you Expedia for refunding me for the second night stay!) and going somewhere else! Plus the "continental" breakfast consisted of a danish that looked like it had been sitting on the shelf for about a month!

Everything great but.....

Our stay at the hotel was good. The room was spacious, free internet and besides refridgerator the room had a microwave. The only thing that wasn’t good when we went that weekend it was so windy so didn’t go to the pool, just the jacuzzi. But as we went south the wind was less. I really wanted to get some sun and that was the main reason why I got the hotel because of the pool. If I had known it was going to be more windy on the north side then I would’ve stayed at the south side. But overall there was nothing wrong with the hotel,.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

I think the hotel had all the amennities. It even has a restaurant in front of hotel so you can just walk. Had breakfast there and the food was good. It’s also near the downtown. I would stay there again.

Good value for the money - pillow trouble

Our hotel room had a King size bed with new decor - everything looked clean. There was a long black hair on my pillow case when I turned down the comforter. The pillows were also lumpy. I would definately bring my own. The grounds were nice, but we were only there to sleep after a late night of gambling at the nearby casinos. From a decor standpoint - I recommend they add color to the white walls - and some artwork to warm up the room.

Traveler's tip on dining

The continental breakfast was a pastry and a beverage served in the diner next door. If you didn’t want the beverage and pastry - you could order a diner meal with a dollar off coupon from the hotel. We passed on both, because of the long wait and instead ate at the Morongo Casino on our way back home.

Great Stay

WOW!! What a surprise. My husband and I have been staying at the Palm Court inn for 3 years now. It is not the nicest hotel but the pool is so big it never warm. Well when we showed up they had remodeled!! New beds, paint, lamps, CARPET, furniture..everything was new and it was nice.

Horrible

I will never stay at this motel again. It was old and dirty, my shower and sink didn’t drain fast it filled up while I showered and used the sink. The pool was filthy. People were partying in the motel all night long. I will never go back.

very nice hotel,this is my 3rd time we stay at this hotel,very close to the strip and casino,very nice swimming pool and jaccussi the staff very helpful,nice restaurant,good food,I’ll recommended to anybody,couples or family,we went on 05/10/08 for mothers day and we are going back on fathers day again.

there’s a nice night club at the spa casino,good music,a lots of restaurants and shopping places at the strip,have a drive to all celebrites homes have a ride on the aerial tram to the mountains, palm springs it’s a beautiful place to be.

twistin’ by the pool

modest rooms and general amenities except for the pool which was extraordinary for a property in its range. we were looking for an inexpensive hotel with plain rooms and a great pool, and the reviews at expedia told us just that. if you don’t plan on spending time in the room, this place rules. just hope you don’t get the couple next door to us who stayed up humping until 3am.

Unacceptable

I booked this hotel for 3 nights, but only stayed one. I was there on a chilly evening and the room heater did not work, leaving the room very, very cold. And there were no additional blankets. The bed was hard as a rock. The bathroom door did not open all the way because the toilet was in the way. The toilet was something from a bus station, and sounded like a hurricane when it flushed. When I tried to voice my displeasure, the office staff did not want to hear it. I was very displeased and canceled my reservation in favor of another hotel’s accommodations.

Very nice for the price

The price was very much worth the amenities. We wanted to spend two days resting where we didn’t have to drive a long distance without having to spend a lot of money. It was nicely located close to the city. It hit the spot. We were very satisfied.

A Bit Past Its Prime

Palm Court Inn was once a nice little Palm Springs resort. The pool and common areas still provide a relaxing resort...as long as one can ignore the fraying around the edges. The old resort really shows her age and I sensed a bit of melancholy in every corner. The room was clean, the price was right, and the quiet suited my purposes for the weekend. Palm Court Inn may be past its prime...but then, so am I.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and big, clean-not dirty. The a/c in our room took a while to cool down the room, it was like an oven when we first walked in. The pool was great. A beautiful mountain view. For the rate we got the room at we were both pleased and lucky our room wasn’t dirty.

The hotel is about 1 1/2 miles away from club Zeldas. Taxi ride did not cost much.

This hotel is a little below average quality, dirty rugs, not well maintained, but is close to the airport and not too bad for a one night stay. Would not recommend for a vacation or extended stay.
