Great Value on International Class Hotel
Very nice and clean hotel with attentive service in business center of Quito. Short taxi ride to the sights, but not extremely convenient for walking to major sights. Very quiet neighborhood at night (not much open or people aroiund), but seemed safe despite the paranoia the hotel feeds you (doorman, hotel guidebook, etc.). Walked around at night without any problems. Not as nice as the Marriott, but close enough, and much cheaper/better value. Great local restaurant, El Pobre Diablo around the corner.
Don’t throw away candy wrappers, etc bought elsewhere in the hotel, because they’ll try to pin the exhorbitant mini-bar charges on your hotel bill!

Good value; excellent customer service; clean and comfortable room.
We stayed 3 seperate days inbetween tours, and each time we were treated like honored guests despite our travel togs. Since room service charged the same as the restaurant (very reasonable and excellent menu), we used it 3 times. Twice it was late for breakfast and I had to call, but it was delivered promptly and the food was excellent. This is not a hotel with a pool, excercise room or casino. It is for business people and offers free Internet, and it makes a perfect place to stay in between destinations. We chose it for the free airport shuttle; however, we didn’t know until we arrived that it didn’t function on Sundays, so twice we had to take a taxi. When the shuttle did run it was prompt, and since the traffic and Ecuadorian driving is, at very least, adventurous, I was glad not to have rented a car. The rooms were quiet, and besides complimentary juice upon arrival, they came to the room with complimentary dessert each time. All of the staff spoke enough English that I had no trouble despite my limited conversational Spanish. I would definately stay again.

gOOD PLACE AND GOOD PRICE
tAKE CARE WHEN OU TAKE A TAXI IN THE HOTEL IS VERY EXPENSIVE IS BETTER IF YOU WALK AND TAKE IT IN THE STREET.
